Underdogs Had Their Day At Super Bowl!

For those who, like me, were too busy watching "Puppy Bowl" and missed it, here is the pre-recorded and lip-synched performance by Miss Paula Abdul of "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" that was aired if not during, then "around" the time of last night's Super Bowl:

Yowza! I like the Minelli-esque costumes and especially the look on the beefy be-tattooed guitar-player's face when Miss Paula shimmies up close to him (he looks like he wants to crawl inside his own skin and curl up into the fetal position--just like Paula was probably doing minutes before the taping). I was kind of hoping she would have some sort of collapse in the middle of it and then start screaming at her team of assistants about nobody appreciating the gift that is Paula Abdul, but they probably edited that out...

Arrrgghh... IAMPWTDE (in a more perfect world that doesn't exist), this would have disqualified her from ever judging anything anywhere again. Ever.

Okay, what the hell? I thought this was supposed to be the halftime show too. And is it just me, or like a laugh track, does it sound like there's a 'crowd din/screaming' track going on?
