After that last rant, I need a little soft rock to soothe my dainty southern sensibilities and then maybe some Will Ferrell in a 'stache to tickle my funny I'm spreading the word about a fun event coming up TOMORROW NIGHT, people!

"Anchorman" Austin Premiere!  This Thursday, July 8 @ Waterloo Park!
If you're like us, you've probably been eagerly awaiting the new Will Ferrell vehicle, "ANCHORMAN."  This sure-fire summer blockbuster about the trials and tribulations of a local TV news anchorman during the 1970s starts this Friday at a megaloplex near you.
But why wait when you can see the Austin premiere of "ANCHORMAN" this Thursday, July 8 AND catch a pre-flick set of 70s soft rock hits from SUMMER BREEZE in the natural splendor of Waterloo Park?
This solid entertainment value is all part of the Alamo Drafthouse's Rolling Roadshow Movies in the Park series.  Gates open at 6pm, music starts around 7pm and the movie begins at 9pm.  Food and beverage concessions (benefiting the Austin Parks Foundation) will be available. You can bring blankets, chairs and dogs, but no coolers (and definitely no dogs wrapped in blankets in coolers!). Waterloo Park is located at the corner of 14th St. and Trinity.  Parking will be available in the state garage across the street.
You may purchase a "VIP Reservation" for $7 which includes two drinks. Free admission tickets are also available through promotional giveaways, but a VIP reservation guarantees a seat. Seating is limited to this event, so VIP reservations are recommended.  Tickets can be ordered online at the Alamo Drafthouse Web site:
Soft rockin' good times are guaranteed for one and all, so come on out and get your yocks on with Will Ferrell and SUMMER BREEZE!
"Rock Softly" with SUMMER BREEZE at your next social function!  Weddings, graduations, retirement parties, store openings, tattoo conventions, divorce showers and more.  Contact Greg Beets at or visit for more information.
